Boeringer, Dr James Leslie. Mus.B. (Wooster, 1952), M.A. (Columbia, 1954), D.S.M. (1964), A.A.G.O. (1953). Studied at the Shadey Side Academy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; pupil of Alec Wyton, Richard Gore, Claire Coci, Douglas Moore and Seth Bingham; studied at Wooster College, Ohio; the Union Theological Seminary, New York. Associate professor at Susquehanna University, Pennsylvania, 1964; professor there, 1977; chairman of music department there, 1978-80. b. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., Mar. 4th, 1930; d. Rockville, Maryland, Jan. 12th, 2014.
