Choveaux, Louis Nicholas. F.R.C.O. Studied at Whitgift School; Trent College; pupil of Dr Alan Gray, R. Arnold Greir and Dorothy Howell. Organist of Chelsea Old Church, London, 1927-28; St. John’s, Wimbledon, London, 1928-33; the Priory Church of St. Bartholomew’s-the-Great, Smithfield, London, 1934-48. Assistant music master at Dover College, Kent, 1927-; joint founder of the Organ Music Society, 1931. Composed songs, organ pieces, services, &c. b. Bromley, Kent, England, Apr. 22nd, 1904; d. Oct. 28th, 1995.
