Organist of St. James’, Amesbury, Massachusetts, 1900; the Church of the Messiah, Auburndale, Massachusetts, 1903-09; Christ Church, Andover, Massachusetts, 1909-10; St. John-the-Evangelists’, Boston, Massachusetts, 1910-60. Professor at the New England Conservatory, Boston; Boston University; dean for music at Wellesley College. b. Amesbury, Massachusetts, U.S.A., June 3rd, 1884; d. Boston, Dec. 31st, 1968.
