Bernard Wagenaar

Wagenaar, Bernard. Studied at the Utrecht Music School under Johan Wagenaar (composition). Violinist with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, U.S.A., 1921; taught composition at the Institute of Musical Arts, 1925-37; the Juilliard School of Music, New York, 1927-. Moved to the U.S.A., 1920. Son of Johan Wagenaar. b. Arnhem, Holland, July 18th, 1894; d. York, Maine, U.S.A., May 19th, 1971.
